This is a must for scenic viewing around Wanaka! Such a beautiful area, the boat ride and the walk made us feel so remote and peaceful. Lovely guide too. I would 100% recommend.
A glorious 5 days – very easy cycling by pastures, vineyards, through forest (mostly on the rail trail or country roads with little traffic), great farm to table meals (Merlot in Milawa and Simone’s in Bright were outstanding), comfortable and friendly accommodations (all of them deserve 5 stars), wonderful wine and wineries.
